Andrés Iniesta and a Great Offer to Return to Barça: Laporta Already Knows His Answer

Joan Laporta has offered Iniesta the chance to return to Barça after his retirement was confirmed.

Andrés Iniesta has spent the last few days in Barcelona, after confirming at an event surrounded by all his loved ones that he was retiring as a professional. This week, the now ex-footballer held a meeting with the president of Barça, Joan Laporta, who made him a proposal to settle his return to his dream team.

Relevo has revealed that Barça "has opened the doors" for him to return whenever he wants. Laporta doesn't want a legend to be out of the Blaugrana and intends to strengthen the club with his return... But the reality is that the response hasn't been what the president expected.

Andrés Iniesta: Two More Years in Dubai

After confirming his retirement, Iniesta headed back to Dubai, where he's currently residing. The aforementioned information has indicated that, if he returns to Barça, it won't be before two years. He's decided to live in Arab Emirates with his wife and children during that period of time, ruling out a return to Barcelona.

He is happy at Emirates and, for the moment, he doesn't intend to return. He plans to do so for special occasions, such as parties or celebrations, but not much more than that. Andrés Iniesta is clear that his future must be alongside Barça, his beloved club, yet for the time being he intends to take it easy.

Laporta Knows Andrés Iniesta's Sole Condition

In this talk, the only condition that Iniesta put forward for returning to Barcelona was clear and was gladly accepted by Laporta.

After retiring, Andrés Iniesta wants to return to the world of soccer as a coach. Madrid-Barcelona has learned that the man from La Mancha wants to begin his training as a coach in the lower categories of Barcelona... training the youngest players and gradually moving up.

Iniesta was trained as a player at La Masía and wants to do the same as a coach, knowing that this is where the best go.

Andrés Iniesta hopes to obtain his coaching license in the next two years and then sign a contract to return to the Barcelona of his dreams. He is in no hurry, he is taking things calmly and Laporta knows this well. He will welcome him with open arms when he decides to return to the club that trained him.
