Farewell to Barça: He goes to the market and Two Teams Fight for Him to Death

Barça is asking for 50 million and the best offer Laporta has received so far is 20.

Barça tried to sell Ansu Fati this summer and failed. To make matters worse, he got injured halfway through pre-season. It was impossible to place him.

Ansu Fati doesn't raise doubts about his technical quality as a player. But he does transmit distrust due to his physical fragility and tendency to get injured. And also because of his physique after undergoing four surgeries.

Opportunities to Look for a Sale

The loan to Brighton didn't clear up any doubts. It was another lost year, even though he played... and got injured.

And Barça will try again in the winter transfer window. For now, the first moves have already been made.

Back at Barça after his experience in the Premier League, Flick has tried to look after him and give him opportunities because he knows that Deco wants to get money for him in the winter market.

And although he isn't among the German coach's chosen ones, Flick is giving him opportunities. The aim is for him to show his skills, shine and seduce the market.

Ansu Fati came to Barça from Sevilla, a city he knows well because he spent his childhood there.

Ansu Fati is Attracted to Sevilla

His father travelled to Seville in search of work. He did so alone, before his wife and seven children joined him after leaving Guinea-Bissau.

His roots are there and nothing would make Ansu happier than, returning to Sevilla, if he had to leave Barça. He has already come to terms with the idea and will try to make his exit happen on a transfer rather than on loan.

But Sevilla's finances are not exactly in good shape either, which is why they have limited themselves to asking for the loan of Ansu Fati for the second half of the season.

The news has reached Betis and Laporta has received a call from the green-white club asking for information. Betis is also interested in the matter.

Laporta asks for 50 million for Ansu Fati

He would even be willing to buy him if Barça adjusted their price. The problem is that Laporta is asking for 50 million and Betis is offering 20.

The important thing for Laporta is that, in Seville, something like a cockfight has arised over the player, which is good for Barça.

Flick will continue to showcase him, albeit in dribs and drabs  as he's done so far: 51 minutes in three games, no starts and no goals.

All this is being carried with the hope that Sevilla or Betis or any other club will be willing to pay what Ansu Fati is worth. The Sevilla option is the most feasible due to the player's own desire to return to his origins.
