Flick Decides One of Them Must Leave. Laporta hopes to get 50 million at Christmas

Laporta hopes to cash in on a winter transfer window by taking advantage of a sporting decision made by Flick.

The 300 million-euro sale planned by Barça for this summer was reduced to just 80 million. But Joan Laporta is working on a big sale for the winter transfer window.

Except for Ilkay Gündogan, who left without leaving a euro in the coffers, all of the sales made by Barça this summer were minor.

The club had Lewandowski, Frenkie De Jong, Araújo and Koundé in the shop window, hoping to get 80 million for one of them. Or 150 for two.

But none of those affected wanted to hear anything about his departure from Barça, nor were the any offers that were up to the circumstances.

However, Joan Laporta is not giving up on a big sale. He is going to take advantage of an important sporting decision by Hansi Flick for 50 million euros.

Flick Has One Too Many

Flick is clear about his decision. In the frontline, Lamine Yamal, Lewandowski and Raphinha are certain to be there. Dani Olmo is also available, and Gavi and Fermin will soon be available.

All three can act as third strikers at any given time. And between Ferran Torres and Ansu Fati, Flick has one too many.

The first one has a good reputation in the market due to his status as an international in the current European champion team.

It wouldn't be difficult to find a place for him in the Premier League, which he knows well after his time at Manchester City. A Spanish international and a Barça starter is highly valued.

Ansu Fati, on the other hand, is faced with hesititation due to his physical fragility.

Olmo, Gavi and Fermin Block the Way

But Laporta is confident that Fati will hold out without getting injured until Christmas and will take advantage of the opportunities that Hansi Flick gives him as an alternative to Lewandowski to show himself to the world.

He had a good game in Vitoria, and Laporta hopes for more opportunities to increase his price in the winter transfer window.

One of the two is dispensable in Flick's plans. And both will understand this when Olmo, Gavi and Fermin return. It will be then that they will be asked to leave the club.

Given their age and valuation, Laporta is convinced that they'll easily find ther way into the winter transfer window.
