Florentino Pays Tribute to Laporta: Outrageous Prices to See Barça

Florentino shoots up prices in the classic. Real Madrid literally values LaLiga more than the Champions League.

It'll be an honor for Joan Laporta to go to the Bernabéu on Sunday 26th at nine o'clock in the evening. That day the derby is played and the leader pays a visit to the coliseum that some authorities consider "small" to host the finals of a World Cup.

In Madrid Everyone Wants to see Lamine Yamal

Precisely for this reason, because the Bernabéu's capacity is limited to no more than 80,000 seats, Florentino Pérez invites his fans to dig deep into their pockets. And he's set prohibitive prices to see Barça... knowing that they'll pay for it.

And Laporta will feel honored that the visit of his team, the one with the leverages but also the leader of the competition, raises so much expectation in the controversial Real Madrid venue.

Prices are out of the ordinary, although it must be taken into account the leader's visit raises a lot of expectations in the capital. Everyone wants to go and see Lamine Yamal and company.

Three points separate Barça from Real Madrid. Before meeting each other for classic, they'll have to face another duel. Real Madrid, against Celta in Balaidos. Barça, against Sevilla in Montjuic.

Florentino Takes Advantage of Barça to Raise Prices

And then comes the big classic, which will capture the attention of the whole world. And even more so since Barça has regained the prominence it has lost in recent years. Curiously, it has done so coinciding with the arrival of Mbappé.

Real Madrid announces that non-season-ticket socis who are lucky enough to get a ticket will receive a 20% discount. At FC Barcelona the discount is 50%.

Prices range from 130 euros for the cheapest ticket to 455 euros for the most expensive one among "normal" seats. Then there are the VIP seats, which are priced at 850 euros.

Florentino Values La Liga more than the Champions League

Comparing the prices of the classic with those of the Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund (finalist in La Decimoquinta), the differences are enormous.

The cheapest ticket for the Champions League is 75 euros, 55 euros less than for seeing Barça. And the most expensive ticket for the VIP zone is 350 euros, 500 euros less than for seeing Barça.

It's clear that Barça still has influence over the capital of Spain. That is what can be deduced from the prices that Florentino Pérez has set for the fans of the most financially stabilized club in Spain.
