Breaking News in England: 'He may sign a pre-contract with Madrid on January 1'

In England, they fear the imminent departure of a Premier League star to cover Carvajal at Real Madrid

Carvajal's injury has set off the alarm in Liverpool, where they can already see one of the Reds' biggest stars wearing the Real Madrid jersey.

Although Real Madrid has decided that Dani Carvajal's long-term absence will be covered by players from the squad, those in England are not entirely confident.

Ancelotti's Original Idea

We'd already reported that the replacement Ancelotti has chosen for Carvajal will come from the triad made up of Valverde, Lucas Vázquez and Militão, depending on the match and the opponent.

This will be the case at least until the winter transfer window opens in December. A final decision will then be made based on the results.

Florentino is playing two different cards to solve the problem: Alphonso Davies and Trent Alexander-Arnold. Ancelotti expects both of them next summer.

But Carvajal's injury could complicate events. Bayern will not agree to sell its star player at a bargain price mid-season. The Bavarian club will fight for the Champions League and doesn't want to weaken its team.

It would be easier to bring forward the arrival of Trent Alexander-Arnold, who was fully convinced by his friend Bellingham to sign for Real Madrid. He wouldn't mind bringing forward the date of his arrival at the Bernabéu.

Bellingham supports him. He knows him well both as a footballer and as a person. In fact, they've been on holiday together.

With nine months left on his contract, Liverpool couldn't ask for an exorbitant amount, especially if the player presses to leave.

"He May Sign for Real Madrid"

Authorities in England are throwing up their hands in dismay. Former Chelsea and Tottenham player Jason Cundy has expressed his outrage at the prospect of Alexander-Arnold leaving Liverpool in a hurry.

Trent's case is a bit of a shock to me. He’s 25 or 26 and allowing him to leave sounds ridiculous to me. His contract is about to expire.

“How can we be having this conversation? Why is this being carried out like this?” he said on talkSPORT.

“I am stunned, it is already October. If you value the player enough at your soccer club, he shouldn't even arrive at the last two years of his contract. As soon as 18 months have passed, questions start to arise and then the player's power becomes bigger and bigger.

"Trent has the golden ticket. He is 26 years old and obviously wants to stay. You would think that, at Liverpool, he's been there since he was six years old.”

“He has been at the club for 20 years, he is a very important part of the future of the club. The fact that we are having a conversation about what could happen to him on January 1st...

"He can sign a pre-contract with Real Madrid on January 1. There are three months left, think about it. It's crazy, wandering around nothingness."
