Florentino Pérez Snatches from Laporta: Better Player than Tchouaméni to Real Madrid

Joan Laporta got hurt: he had signed him for Barça but Florentino interfered and now he prefers to go to Real Madrid

Florentino Pérez doesn't waste his time. The president of Real Madrid is constantly receiving reports about soccer players and, in particular, one has caught his attention. The player is none other than Baye Coulibaly, born in Mali, who's considered to be able to become even better than Tchouaméni.

Baye Coulibaly is 18 years old and could sign for Real Madrid immediately. The report has been drafted by Juni Calafat,  according to newspaper Defensa Central, and it details that he can cover different positions at the back, as well as defensive pivot, which has caught Florentino Pérez's attention.

He is currently playing in Croatia and could leave for a very cheap price. As well as being able to play in the midfield, he's also played as a full-back and even on the right wing, potentially acting as a backup for Dani Carvajal.

Laporta: Hurt and Sunk

Baye Coulibaly is a player that Joan Laporta seemed to have in mind for his Barça. He was signed, but they decided not to transfer him because he would participate in the African Cup of Nations in January and they didn't want to lose him for a month.

Florentino Pérez is willing to do so and is going all out for Baye Coulibaly, who prefers Real Madrid over Barça, something that's left Joan Laporta very upset.

In any case, it remains to be seen what will happen. Real Madrid has set a maximum price for the player, which they consider to be higher than Tchouameni. But it's true that he's aroused the interest of major European teams and he's not getting involved in auctions.

Laporta is certainly hitting the ceiling and considers it a mistake not to have signed Baye Coulibaly when he had him in his hands...

An ill-timed video from February has gone viral on social media. And it could jeopardize a transfer that Real Madrid had already agreed on since last summer.

This is the versatile Liverpool international defender Trent Alexander-Arnold. The Bernabéu's elite even considered transfering him immediately to cover for Carvajal.

But the video puts him in a delicate situation. There, he shows his support for Barça, also putting Leo Messi before Cristiano Ronaldo in his preferences.

The transfer remains uncertain. Florentino Pérez was not happy to find out that he likes Barça and Ancelotti is devastated.
