Surprise Call to Florentino: 'If you Need me, I'm here.' Ancelotti to Decide

Real Madrid receives a very special offer to solve the issue with Carvajal

Florentino Pérez was not expecting the call, but he was grateful. Sergio Ramos was on the phone and ready to rescue Real Madrid if he needs him.

This time they didn't talk about money, unlike their last interviews. Sergio Ramos is not thinking about money now. He's only thinking about helping Real Madrid if he can be useful with Carvajal being unavailable.

Ancelotti to Decide

It was a friendly telephone meeting. Florentino thanked him and referred him to Carlo Ancelotti. The decision is on him.

"For my part, I would be delighted," Sergio Ramos has told his closest circle. Sergio Ramos would like to be able to return to Real Madrid to say goodbye to his fans.

And he would be willing to take on the role of substitute if Ancelotti so decides.

It would be the best way to end his sporting career. He is currently without a team after his time at PSG and Sevilla, his club of origin where he played last season.

But Sergio Ramos is not part of Real Madrid's future plans . At 38 years old, he doesn't fit the profile of the signings that the club has been making in recent years.

It's not a matter of money, because the former captain of Real Madrid would accept whatever they gave him. It's rather the desire to return to Real Madrid than the money he could earn in what would be his last experience as a footballer.

On the other hand, it would help the player smooth over the differences that separated him from the club and led to his departure for PSG.

Real Madrid appreciates Sergio Ramos's gesture, but it havs other more viable options to overcome the loss of Dani Carvajal.

Ancelotti has two future alternatives at zero cost, Alphonso Davies and Alexander-Arnold, who are expected to arrive next summer.

And to cover Carvajal's eight-month absence, Lucas Vázquez, Militão and Tchouaméni are more than capable of occupying the right-back position.

Sergio Ramos knew that it would not be easy for his offer to come to fruition, but his body was asking him to take a step forward in case he could be of use to the club he loves.
