Laporta Negotiates, Finds Christensen's Replacement: 25 Million Confirmed

England is still interested in Andreas Christensen and Laporta intends to make the most of it: there is a replacement

Barça need to raise money and they know who they can do it with. Christensen is still not recovering from his injury and is on the market: his contract ends in 2026 and the idea is to transfer him, getting a good amount for the operation. He arrived for free and all the raised money would go directly to the coffers of the Barça team, eager for money in these difficult times.

Christensen is an important player and no one wants to get rid of him, but in these difficult times, he is seen as a sale that could be important financially. He has aroused a lot of interest in the Premier League and has teams after him, willing to pay between 35 and 40 million euros to take him after these years at Barcelona.

Next season there will be changes in the defensive line. Not only Christensen is on the way out: Eric García and Íñigo Martínez are also candidates to leave. Meanwhile, it seems that Araújo's future is taking a turn for the blaugrana, willing to stay and renew his contract after the latest tug-of-war that there has been in recent times.

Cristhian Mosquera, the Christensen replacement that Laporta likes

On Laporta's table is the name of a Spanish player he likes a lot to replace Christensen in the FC Barcelona defensive line. 'El Nacional' has discovered that the chosen one is none other than Cristhian Mosquera , Valencia's centre-back... who at 20 years old feels ready to make the jump to a bigger club.

Cristhian Mosquera's contract with Valencia expires in 2026 and he doesn't seem willing to renew it. He wants to leave and the price is said to be around 25 million euros. Laporta would be delighted to take him and hopes to convince him, provided the expected departures occur.

Laporta's plan is clear: Christensen would leave for England for around 35 or 40 million euros, while his replacement would be Valencia's Cristhian Mosquera. In addition to gaining in youth, FC Barcelona would also come out on top financially.

However, there's still a long way to go. This is Laporta's wish and, for the moment, no progress has been made in any area. We will have to wait and see how Christensen recovers from the injury that has prevented him, for the moment, from making his debut this season with Barça.
